H. Brooke Macdonald, B. Bus., L.L.B.
Director, President & CEO
Mr. Macdonald has over 30 years experience in the mining industry, specializing in the legal aspects of exploration and mine development with an emphasis on Latin America. From 2004-2008 Mr. Macdonald was Vice President Legal Affairs of Skye Resources Inc. until its acquisition by HudBay Minerals Inc. Previously he worked with Placer Dome as legal counsel for international exploration and later as country manager in Venezuela. Prior to joining Placer, he was an associate at Baker & McKenzie in Venezuela for four years.
Mr. Macdonald earned his law degree from Queen's University in Ontario and was admitted to practice in British Columbia in 1984 and New York in 2002.
David Loveys, C.A.
CFO & Director
David's experience has been primarily with large Canadian publicly traded companies operating in the domestic and international markets. He has held senior financial positions with CHC Helicopter Corporation and, prior to that, with the NewTel Group of Companies. David has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1981. He successfully completed the Investment Dealers Association of Canada, Canadian Securities Course in 1987.
Colin McKenzie, P. Geo
Colin McKenzie is a respected exploration professional with over 30 years experience in major exploration projects and business development in Newfoundland & Labrador, other regions of Canada and internationally. Colin has been a director of Cornerstone since 2006 and served as President & CEO from 2008 to 2010. Currently he is a consultant to the minerals industry. From 2004 to 2008, Colin was Vice President, Exploration for Skye Resources, engaged in the development of nickel laterite deposits in Guatemala. Before joining Skye, he was Director, Exploration for Inco, where he was in charge of exploration in Latin America as well as responsible for generating new business opportunities from Inco's portfolio of non-core exploration properties. From 1996 to 2000 he was Vice President, Exploration for Voisey's Bay Nickel, responsible for managing exploration and resource evaluation of the Voisey's Bay deposits. Prior to that he held increasingly senior exploration positions with Rio Algom and at BP Mining, where he was credited with the discovery of the Hope Brook gold deposit. Colin holds B,Sc, (Honours) and M,Sc, degrees in Geology from Dalhousie University.
W. John Clarke, B. Comm., J.D, C. Arb., C. Med.
John Clarke was a co-founder, in 1997, of Cornerstone in its original form as a private company and has been a Director of Cornerstone Capital Resources Inc. since it was formed and listed on the Alberta Exchange and subsequently on the TSXV Exchange in 1999.
John has been a member of the Law Society of Newfoundland since 1979. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland and a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Saskatchewan. He is a member of the panel of arbitrators trained and approved by the provincial Labour Management Arbitration Committee and maintained by the Provincial Department of Labour. He was awarded the designations of Chartered Arbitrator and Chartered Mediator from the ADR Institute of Canada. He has received training in mediation skills and theory in Toronto, Halifax and Vancouver with the Canadian Dispute Resolution Corporation, in Toronto with Genevieve Chornenki, Judith Ryan and Mary Sattersfield, in Los Angeles with Dr. Dan Dana of Mediation Training International and at Harvard University in Cambridge.
John has been active in the practice of law in Newfoundland and Labrador since admission to the bar and, since 1986, has concentrated his efforts in the area of alternative dispute resolution focusing primarily on arbitration, mediation and workplace harassment investigations. In 2006 he was instrumental in establishing the Centre for Innovative Dispute Resolution. He is a former Vice-Chair of the province's Labour Relations Board. He is a member of numerous dispute resolution panels including those maintained by the provincial Department of Labour, Labour Canada, the Canadian Transportation Agency, The Centre for Sport and Law, and the Canadian Motor Vehicle Arbitration Plan.
John is a member of the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador. He is a member of the ADR Institute of Canada and the Canadian Bar Association. He teaches the ADR portion of the annual provincial Bar Admission Course. He is a Past-President of the Newfoundland Division of the Canadian Red Cross Society and has served on its National Board of Directors. He is a former board member of the Newfoundland branch of Big Brothers as well as that of the Newfoundland and Labrador Credit Union. John is married with two children.
Beverley A. Evans, FCPA, FCA, ICD.D
Ms. Evans is a Chartered Professional Accountant with over 25 years experience in leadership roles with recognized Newfoundland and Labrador organizations such as FPI Limited, a TSX-listed international seafood company, the Research and Development Corporation and KPMG. Currently as Partner of Knightsbridge Robertson Surrette Human Capital Solutions. Ms. Evans leverages her deep strategic, financial and operational expertise in working with clients to provide optimal people solutions. While at RDC she was responsible for financial, information technology ("IT"), procurement and treasury operations of the corporation. She was also an executive member responsible for strategic planning and execution of the corporation's business plan. As CFO and Corporate Secretary for FPI, Ms. Evans was responsible for international corporate finance, foreign investment and consolidation strategy, financial compliance for public company reporting, IT and human resources. She also played a key role in executing the corporation's strategic business plans as it transitioned from operator to holding company.
Ms. Evans also currently serves as Director and Audit Committee Chair for the Janeway Children's Heath Foundation Board.

Yvan is a Geologist and exploration manager with over twenty five years of diversified experience in the evaluation and management of exploration projects in Eastern Canada as well as overseas in Asia, North, Central and South America. Yvan has expertise in corporate development, management of technical programs and human resources, relations with government agencies and contract negotiation. Yvan has his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from HEC in Montreal, specializing in International Management, and his Bachelors Degree in Geology (BSc) from the University of Montreal. He is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
